The GEL-KAYANO® Lite shoe embodies a more sustainable design approach that uses less componentry and fewer resources to produce. As its namesake suggests, this trainer is focused on preserving the stability properties of the GEL-KAYANO® series with less weight while lightening the load on the environment. Designed to provide excellent underfoot comfort, the shoe also offers an energetic ride and helps set the foot up for a more efficient toe-off. The upper is formed with recycled materials that are teamed with minimal overlays to target support where it's needed most. Wrapping the foot with a soft and silky feel, this engineered mesh provides a more accommodating fit and breathability to keep cool and comfortable. We created specific deformable shapes on the top of the midsole through the use of our 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION™ design to slow the rate of pronation and improve the cushioning experience. This midsole technology is also tuned to accommodate the gait differences between male and female runners. Featuring a flared midsole geometry that has a concave shape on the lateral heel and a convex shape on the medial heel, this supportive design mechanism helps generate more compression during the landing phase to increase the resistance when the foot starts rolling inward. Cutouts in the midfoot improve the shoe’s flexibility and create a smoother ride, while the wider base nets in the shoe’s heel and forefoot provide more surface area to create a stable landing and toe-off. The GEL-CUMULUS® 23 shoe's focus is to provide an even smoother and softer ride while implementing gender tailored technology in the men's and women's models. Continuing to draw inspiration from cumulus clouds, we reimagined this neutral running shoe's upper and midsole formation by applying a more holistic design approach that adapts to the runner's anatomy in motion. Wrapping the foot with an even softer feel, the engineered mesh upper adds strategic support in targeted areas while leaving some of the fibers more open to improve breathability. The upper also works more closely with the midsole's movement, which creates a smoother stride from footstrike to toe-off. Additionally, the shoe's upper is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions. To improve cushioning and flexibility, we added a 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION™ to the top layer of the midsole. This technology is implemented through a series of strategically planted pillars within the midsole, allowing runners to experience more compression in a specific area without reducing durability or stability. These pillar formations are tuned differently in the men's and women's models to address each gender's biomechanical data. By helping runners appropriately compress the foam during the landing phase of their stride, this shoe promotes a smoother ride and improves shock absorption. Lastly, a softer GEL® technology unit is positioned under the heel to improve cushioning while the FLYTEFOAM® midsole material helps create a smoother and more supportive ride.

The NOVABLAST™ 3 TR running shoe draws inspiration from a geometric origami feature for the upper and midsole. After making the shoe approx. 30g lighter than the previous version, we also equipped this style with improved comfort. Part of our NATURE BATHING™ Collection, this shoe is inspired by the Japanese phrase, "shirin yoku." Its colorway draws inspiration from the calming hues found in nature. Meanwhile, its trail-specific outsole is functional for running on off-road surfaces. A tongue wing construction in the upper helps improve the fit while reducing tongue movement.
